About Our Practice

Therapy That Sees the Whole Person

You are more than the symptoms that brought you here. Your relationships, experiences, beliefs, body, nervous system, culture, responsibilities, and history all shape how you move through the world.

At Crawley Integrative Marriage & Family Therapy, we look beyond isolated problems to understand the full context of your life. Therapy is thoughtful, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that lasting change begins when you feel accurately understood.

Our Philosophy

People Make Sense in Context

Many of the patterns people want to change began as intelligent ways of adapting.

Hypervigilance may have helped you anticipate danger. Emotional distance may have protected you from disappointment. People-pleasing may have helped preserve an important relationship. Control may have created a sense of stability when life felt unpredictable.

These responses can become painful or limiting over time, but they did not develop without reason. Our work begins by understanding what your patterns have been trying to protect, solve, or survive. From there, therapy can help you develop new responses that fit the life and relationships you are trying to build now.

Our Approach

Integrative by Design

We don't force every client into a single theory, technique, or treatment model. Different people need different forms of support, and the work may involve understanding the patterns and beliefs shaping your life, processing trauma, improving emotional regulation, increasing nervous system awareness, changing relationship dynamics, rebuilding trust, strengthening communication, exploring attachment, developing boundaries, or integrating faith when requested.

Depending on what fits your story, your therapist may draw from attachment theory, family systems, trauma-informed care, EMDR, CBT, DBT-informed skills, mindfulness, parts work, or relational therapy, among others.

The method matters, but the relationship matters too. Therapy should feel collaborative, responsive, and grounded in what is actually happening in your life.

What Guides Our Work

What You Can Expect From Us

We Look Beneath the Surface

We are interested in more than the immediate symptom. We look at the experiences, relationships, beliefs, and protective patterns underneath it.

We Tell the Truth With Care

Therapy should be compassionate, but compassion does not require avoiding difficult realities. We help clients face what is true without shame or unnecessary harshness.

We Respect Your Values

Your beliefs, culture, relationships, and personal values belong in the therapy room. Christian integration is available for clients who want it, but it is never assumed or imposed.

We Focus on Lasting Change

Insight matters, but insight alone is not always enough. We help clients translate understanding into new emotional, relational, and behavioral patterns.

Who We Serve

Care for Individuals, Couples, and Families Across California

Crawley Integrative Marriage & Family Therapy is a California telehealth group practice. We support adults, couples, and families navigating trauma and PTSD, anxiety and panic, relationship conflict, emotional disconnection, betrayal and infidelity, grief and loss, life transitions, family stress, first responder and military life, Christian faith concerns, identity and self-worth, and parenting challenges.

Online therapy allows clients throughout California to receive care from the privacy and convenience of their own space, whether that means individual counseling, couples counseling, EMDR, or Christian counseling when that fits your values.

The Practice

A Group Practice With a Personal Standard of Care

Crawley Integrative Marriage & Family Therapy was created to offer care that is both clinically thoughtful and deeply human.

As a group practice, we can connect clients with therapists whose experience, personality, and approach fit what they need. At the same time, every clinician is expected to uphold a shared standard: listen carefully, think systemically, remain curious, and never reduce a person to a diagnosis or presenting problem. That means emotional attunement, ethical care, continued learning, trauma-informed treatment, relational depth, and clinical honesty, regardless of which therapist you work with.

Meet the Team

You Do Not Have to Perform in Therapy

You do not need to arrive with the right words.

You do not need to know exactly what is wrong.

You do not need to make your experiences sound reasonable, organized, or easy to understand.

Therapy can begin with what you know, what you feel, what keeps happening, or simply the sense that something needs to change.

Our job is to help you make sense of it together.
