Megan Fikes, AMFT
Associate Marriage and Family Therapist Supervised by Carol Crawley, LMFT (CA License #130458) · Currently accepting clients in California onlyHealing isn't about becoming someone different. It's about reconnecting with who you are beneath the pain, the overwhelm, and the expectations you've been carrying.

Megan believes that meaningful therapy begins with understanding the whole person, not just the challenges that brought them through the door. Every person has a unique story, shaped by relationships, life experiences, culture, and the ways they've learned to navigate difficult moments. Her goal is to create a space where clients feel genuinely seen, understood, and accepted as they begin making sense of that story.
Her approach is collaborative, compassionate, and holistic, recognizing the deep connection between the mind, body, and soul. Rather than rushing to "fix" problems, Megan works alongside her clients to understand the patterns that keep them feeling stuck while helping them build confidence, resilience, and deeper self-awareness. She believes that when people begin to understand the experiences that shaped them, they often discover they are not broken. They are responding in ways that make sense. That understanding creates space for self-compassion, growth, and lasting change.
Megan works with individuals, couples, and families navigating life's difficult seasons, from trauma and anxiety to relationship struggles, major life transitions, postpartum adjustment, and the challenges of new motherhood. She especially enjoys helping people strengthen their relationships, navigate uncertainty with greater confidence, and reconnect with a deeper sense of peace and purpose.
As a military spouse, Megan has experienced firsthand the unique demands that military families often face. Frequent moves, deployments, reintegration, changing roles, and the uncertainty that comes with military life can place tremendous strain on individuals, marriages, and families. Those experiences have given her firsthand insight into the resilience required to build healthy relationships while living a life of service. She has a special passion for supporting first responders, military members, and their families as they navigate the emotional complexities that often accompany a life of service.
As a biracial woman, Megan understands that identity is deeply personal and shaped by many influences, including culture, family, relationships, and lived experience. She approaches every therapeutic relationship with cultural humility, curiosity, and respect, striving to create a welcoming environment where every client feels valued, heard, and free to bring their authentic self into the room. She believes lasting healing happens when people feel fully known, understood, and accepted without fear of judgment.
Above all, Megan believes healing grows through connection. When people experience genuine acceptance, become curious about their own story, and feel supported as they move forward, meaningful change becomes possible. Wherever you are in your story today, you don't have to navigate it alone. Healing isn't about having all the answers. It's about taking the next step with someone who will walk alongside you.
